Printer may randomly leave PCL mode; fix: prepend the PJL command "^[%-12345X@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=PCL" at the start of the job, where the square character is an escape character (0x1b). This, and other PJL option controls, are trivially implemented with PDQ; see the HOWTO.
