Comments
For basic printing functionality use the HPIJS driver . For advanced functionality such as printer status and maintenance features, use the HPLIP driver (which includes HPIJS).
Note: The maximum resolution in color is 300x300.
Use the "gimp-print"/"stp" or "pcl3"/"hpdj" driver.
The best output quality you will get with the "gimp-print" driver, it also handles the ink more economically.
If you have Gimp-Print 4.1.6 or older installed, you should upgrade to a newer version, because the old versions "print" blank lines instead of simply advancing the paper fastly.
