Printer supports direct text printing with the 'us-ascii' charset.
Comments
I have only tested at 1440x720 with uniprint. Printing is
extremely slow at that resolution, but text quality is excellent.
Images seem to be a bit posterized. I haven't played with any
(e.g. ghostscript) settings to see if this can be fixed.
The new Epson driver based on the Gimp print plugin code (stp)
produces somewhat better results. It should be perfect now.
