Output from the BJC-600 driver is reported to be fairly good.
One Red Hat 5.1 user reports that he had to comment out "COLOR=-dBitsPerPixel=1" in the /var/spool/lpd/lp/postscript.cfg for the printtool queue to produce decent output.
Commenting out "COLOR=-dBitsPerPixel=8" from
/var/spool/lpd/lp/postscript.cfg seems to
improve b/w printing for RedHat 6.0.
This printer is apparently slower than the venerable BJC-4x00
series devices?
