Works fine (this page is correct:-)) 01.01.2009.
The provided PPD did not work right for me. Use this one instead: http://sven.gimp.org/misc/lex120n.ppd.gz
Prints simple files but not a pdf document with pictures. Nor does the one linked to above work :-/
The recommended driver works fine (pxlmono), but the postscript driver didn't work

I installed the printer with the above driver and it worked OK. Also, as an experiment I installed the
printer using the driver for HP Laserjet 4 and it worked even better. My linux distro comes with the
HP drivers. The HP driver seems to work for a few other laser/LED printers. It worked for me for
OKI B series LED mono printers (B4200 and B4600). The test page looked better on Lexmark with
HP Laserjet 4 driver, the font was better and the layout more correct. If you want to try it, just pretend
you're installing hp laserjet 4 (lpt usb or network) and later rename it to lexmark.

=======================================
I did not get my E120n to work with the pxlmono ppd (CUPS under FreeBSD7.1).
The setup was running without any problems, the printer status was OK, print jobs
were accepted and processed but nothing more happened.
I have taken in CUPS the Printer Lexmark Optra E and it works perfect with my E120n.
BTW: I have conected to the printer with LPR, the needed name for the printer
queue after the ip address is the hostname on the printer setup page,
take care for lower-case and capital characters, the Windows clients did
not care for it but my BSD clients needed the exact match![Add/Edit User Notes] [Wikish History]
