Notes
Canon provide drivers for this printer on their Asia and Oceania sites (the US site is missing them, others may also have them). The drivers are provided as debian packages, RPMs and source packages. I have the printer working properly under Debian Lenny with the deb packages:
cnijfilter-common_2.80-1_i386.deb cnijfilter-mp210series_2.80-1_i386.deb
These are both available from the driver downloads as "IJ Printer Driver Ver. 2.80 for Linux(debian Common package)" and "IJ Printer Driver Ver. 2.80 for Linux(debian Package for the MP210 series)" respectively. Drivers are dual licenced under a custom Canon licence and the GPLv2.
